This is a dark, erotic thriller intended for mature audiences. Not a traditional romance, but a love story with a twist that will leave you wanting more. The greatest love stories begin with blood… There is blood. There is pain. And there is him. These are the first things I register when I wake up, the lone survivor in an Alaskan plane crash. He carries me to safety over rough terrain and brings me to his cabin in the woods. He has no name. Or none he will tell me. As snow creeps across the harsh and isolated landscape, he is my only company. My protector, my caretaker. A fascinating enigma, with mysterious eyes, gentle hands, and a rough voice that demands more from me than I ever expected to give. I make up different stories, different names for him depending on his mood, because I know nothing about him except that he is my only connection to the real world I want to return to. So I work to please him, plotting my escape, yet all the while I start to crave him and every touch of his dominating body. He has saved me from the cold. From death. But in taking me and my body, will he destroy me?

By LadyLoves2Read Oh, my God, what the hey did I just read? This is not erotica, it's sick. The heroine is a spineless ick, who spends all her time with the man who 'rescued' her from a plane crash telling him she's sorry for existing, meanwhile waiting breathlessly for him to do her. And I will say for the first little bit of the book I thought okay, this is gonna be tense and sexy with an alpha hero who turned his back on society because of some deep pain, and a heroine who shows him tenderness is what he needs.Holy ickerpants, was I wrong! The hero turns out to be a sociopath ( a person with no conscience for hurting and or killing others) the heroine a clinging vine willing to do anything to keep his attention, and toward the last, as big a sociopath as the 'hero'. She commits murder rather than just tell her old boyfriend to go away.Okay, I'm off to scrub my brain. Hope you'll stay far away from this mess!

Dark and suspenseful By heavenlycirce **Received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.**"Crash" is written by Drew Jordan, and it is a stand-alone book. It features Laney and her rescuer.Laney was the only survivor of an Alaskan plane crash, and we find her rescued by a mysterious man. Her rescuer takes her to his cabin where he watches over and takes care of her. There are so many questions about this guy, and yet, Laney is drawn to him. Simply put, she's addicted. Who is he? What's his name? Does he have good intentions? Why is he living so far away from the rest of civilization? Will anyone she's still alive? This book was interesting. It was dark and erotic, but also had suspense and was a thriller. It's definitely not the typical happily-ever-after romance type of novel I'm used to reading, so it was a little hard for me to adjust to. The beginning was a little slow for me, but once you get to the middle, the plot thickens. And the ending was totally unexpected! You just go through a range of emotions while you read this, and it left a lot of questions. I think with the way the book ended, it left it open for a follow-up novel. "Crash" wasn't really my cup of tea, but I'm sure others will like it.

The book doesn’t have an ending so the cover saying it’s a complete novel is a lie in my opinion. I can get down with some captive romances but this just didn’t work at all and you end up not really liking anyone.
