I’ve been in love with Luke Daniels since, well, forever. As his sister's best friend, I’ve spent over a decade living in the friend zone, watching from the sidelines hoping he would notice me, pick me, love me. I want the fairy tale and Luke is my Prince Charming. He’s tall, with shoulders so broad he blocks out the sun. He's kind with a smile so dazzling he makes me forget everything that’s wrong in the world. And he's the only man that can make me laugh until my cheeks hurt and my stomach cramp. But he’ll never be mine. So I’ve decided to get on with my life and find the next best thing. Until a Wonder Woman costume, a bottle of tequila and a game of truth or dare happened. Then Luke's licking salt from my wrist and telling me I’m beautiful. Then he’s peeling off my clothes and pressing his lips against mine. Then what? Is this the start of my happily ever after or the beginning of a tragedy? Promised Nights is a sexy, standalone with no cliffhanger. Some of the supporting characters have a book of their own. Other Books in the Nights Series Parisian Nights is Jake and Haven's story. Indigo Nights is Beth and Dylan's story. (Promised Nights was previously published as novella serial Calling Me)

Ms. Bay certainly knows her audience and, once again, gave us the ability to fall in love with yet another amazing H. I knew that I was going to check the yes box as soon as I read the first page. I love book boyfriends with hang-ups and relationship phobias!Calling Me Back:Yep, it’s official. I am obsessed with yet another one of Louise Bay’s Heroes! Wow, was Luke the hot sexy alpha male that I love in this genre. He started off with one woman and ended with another. There isn’t anything better than that, well as long as he chooses the right girl! This one happens to be his sister’s best friend and a part of their unofficial “family.” Luke and Ash were great together. You could feel the chemistry right away even though neither of them actually acted on it. Well, that’s not exactly true. Our poor h has been desperately in love with Luke for the past 15 years and is now trying to move on with her life. Good thing he needed a date for a black tie gala because it was the perfect time for them to come together. And it was absolutely worth the wait! Probably one of the hottest sex scenes I’ve read. I seriously need more!Calling Me Away:This second novella had me chewing my nails and holding my breath on numerous occasions. The scenes, once again, were hot as hell and the chemistry between the H and h was undeniable, but then, of course, Ash gets spooked and thinks she will not only lose Luke, but also her best friend, his sister. She tells him to take some time and figure out what he really wants, what he really needs. This was frustrating, but I still loved Luke in this book and how he found himself and only got better. Ash, not so much. She was whiney and depressed for most of it, which I found somewhat annoying since she was the one who caused the situation. Fortunately, for her, Luke’s love for her was strong and he found his way back. I’m just not sure if she deserved him at that point. Luke, by far, was the star in this novella and his character is what will keep me coming back for more.Calling Me Home:Loved it! This last novella had me falling hard for the amazing Luke and his Ashleigh (no longer just Ash). He was romantic and so swoon worthy that I couldn’t get enough! Now that they have found their happiness, I just wish that we had more. Hopefully these two will show up in another one of Ms. Bay’s series because that would certainly be a highlight for me. The ending was perfect for these two characters and how the author brought us back around full circle with the tree was beautiful. Overall, I really enjoyed this series and can’t wait to get my hands on the next one!*I received an ARC from the author via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

By Kim Reads All the fun, plus a dash of maturity to the contemporary romances of late, learning who you are before jumping into love- it's still heartwarming and hot to boot! A building, anticipatory beginning lets us get to know Luke and Ashleigh both separately and as friends, and when they finally tip into intimacy, you're all ready to cheer them on. Ashleigh's realistic attitude regarding their 'immediate coupledom' is refreshing and real, not the brainless free fall you see so readily in contemporary romances lately. Thank-you for the nod to your readers' intelligence and your characters' authenticity! Although the pause was needed, I must say I was past ready for them to get the show on the road! Once they did, their relationship bloomed and carried us through a stunningly sweet romance that grew naturally.Excellent novel, steamy, romantic, authentic and funny; Louise Bay will be going on my favorite author's shelf.*I received an arc for an honest review*

They think of each other as family. Ash has been in love with Luke since she was fifteen. But Luke has always thought of Ash as a little sister. Ash knows if she is to ever have a chance for a relationship, she has to move on and give up on Luke. But she never really feels any connection with any other man. Luke has been with Emma for three years. However when she starts hinting she wants more, Luke becomes scared. He has never thought he was the type of person to get married or have kids. So they eventually break up. Luke asks Ash to be his +1 at an awards function for work. When he gets a look at her, he no longer has any big brotherly feelings for her. He begins to see her in a different light. During their truth or dare session, it becomes obvious to Luke that perhaps the things Ash said in a joking manner as they were younger, were not really a joke after all but a reflection of her feelings. After they first sleep together, because Luke knows Ash so well, he knows she is going to have a meltdown. She begins to question whether they are moving too fast. She needs forever and she doesn’t feel Luke is ready for this since he just broke up with his girlfriend. She feels like she is his rebound girl. His life has always been predictable and orderly but now everything is changing. Ash tells him he needs to go out and stand on his own and truly reflect on his life before he can decide what he really wants. I think it was a little annoying that Ash could not trust that Luke knew what he wanted so she pushes him away. The epilogue was able to tie everything together. Overall this was a good book. While there is of course some drama, it wasn’t over the top. There is not a lot of inner dialogue that distracted from the story. I like the fact this was a bundle. I am not sure since this was a three book story I would have purchased them individually. I don’t like when authors/publishers break books up to about 100 pages a piece so they can charge for each book. This is the first time I have read a book by this author. I look forward to reading others.
