Ednah does an excellent job of really fleshing out characters - no one is one-dimensional, or predictable, but they are honest to themselves. It's always wonderful when a story line continues to progress as the characters become more clear. I hope the series isn't over, as there still seems much to accomplish and I don't want to say goodbye to these people yet!

By LauraBC *I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review*Forgotten is the first book that has amped up my anxiety and need to shake my fist at the book gods (or rather, the deliciously evil plot-twisting mind of the amazing Ednah Walters) within the first chapter—no, even before that, by the end of the prologue! Knowing that Lil’s life was going to be difficult now that the Tribunal had thrust her into her father’s world for a year as “Princess Lilith of the Hermonites”, did not at all prepare me for the complications that she faced with the addition of a complete memory wipe! Although frustrating at times (I kept yelling what she was forgetting from the previous books at my Kindle in the hopes she’d hear me), it was fun re-learning the hermonite-guardian world from an unbiased point of view and seeing Lil grow as an individual, without her guardian memories.Having moved from The Valley as Cardinal Fallon’s Junior Cardinal Psi granddaughter to Mount Hermon Island as Lord Valafar’s Special Princess daughter, Lil love has the chance to expand to all types of nephilim regardless of their status as hermonite, guardian, powerless (minion), or powerful (Special/Nature-Bender/Prime). In fact, with Lil’s new understanding of the hermonite point-of-view, I too was forced to reevaluate how quickly I judged characters based on to whom they were loyal, rather than the fact that they could show loyalty at all. It was relieving to see that, even without her memories, Lil retains her leadership qualities and her drive to make peace among all of her people. I’ll add on a selfish note, that I appreciated the continued presence of Bran’s love, and—viewing him through Lil’s reset mind—the chance to re-meet and fall in love with him all over again. Ednah always manages to keep the romance alive and interesting without it overshadowing the self-discovery and high-energy plot she creates that makes other paranormal books so hard to immerse yourself in.Forgotten is a fresh and unique storyline that continues to follow the path of the Chosen One as she makes headway in her divine purpose of uniting all nephilim in a common peace-full goal. I hope there is more to come from Lil, Bran and their friends (both hermonite and guardian) as they begin to bridge the schism.

By Mihi Vienna Tarawa I was so fortunate to have received a ARC copy of this book!..**No Spoilers**I absolutely enjoyed reading this book. It had me feeling all over the place emotional.At times I was annoyed but once I got a bit more into it I started to love it just as much as the previous books.The way Brans love for Lil showed wonders and the fact that he kept strong and never gave up was commendable. What you do for love hehe :)Lil well everything about her character and the path that was set for her was amazing her character is one for the ages. She is truly a heroic character, one of awe :)The storyline from the first book to this one so far has been one truly captivating journey, I love how all the elements were put into not only the characters but the story really well It made for a great read. You get to see more about the Hermonites in this one and so its not as one sided. Although I still love the Guardians just as much though especially SYKES :D I would love to see more of him with Lil his character completes this story down pat as does Dante his mystery is unparalleled in a good way and I can't help but love him!..This book feels like the start of something new and exciting to come and I definitely cannot wait for more!!..All in all an absolute amazing series so far and a awesome book this is with great characters new & old a definite Recommend to anyone. You should jump on this bandwagon and join in on this exciting series.You will not regret it :)5++++++ stars :DThank you again Ednah Walters for writing such awesome stories :D

I was kept glued to my screen from page one, The vividness of the details easily brought out sadness, happiness, rage, and an emotion I can only describe as a party syndrome. You are cheering for the character, jeering the bad guys, and just completely engrossed and right where the author wants you. Is it going to be a left hook? A right? You will never know and when it hits you, it will be shown to in such a way where you can almost see the lines on their knuckles right before it hits you. So I will absolutely give this book a five star rating. I would give it a rating of ten if it would mean the author would magically complete the next book so I can read it as well.

One of the Best Marvel Stories Ever Written By Mitch Nissen One of the Best Marvel Stories Ever WrittenAnnihilation Conquest is a direct sequel to the 2006 Marvel event Annihilation (also collected in Omnibus format) written by the same men, Keith Giffen, Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning. This time around it is Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning taking up the lion's share of the writing whereas they only wrote the Nova section of Annihilation. The story is masterfully crafted from beginning to end. The art is superb in each of the various portions, from the tie-in mini series collected here to the covers to the epic main event. Tom Raney, Sean Chen, Paul Pelletier, Kyle Hotz, Timothy Green II, and the rest of the artists really pull out all the stops producing some beautiful and inspiring artwork.For those of you in the know, the Marvel cosmic books from 2006 starting with Annihilation through 2010's Thanos Imperative and Annihilators was perhaps the greatest chunk of Marvel comic books ever produced. Annihilation and Annihilation Conquest and every cosmic comic book that resulted afterward are the reason Marvel Studios produced the Guardians of the Galaxy film (a testament to how wonderful these stories are). I was present at the 2010 San Diego Comic Con Marvel Panel in which authors Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning were present along with Jeff Loeb and Brian Michael Bendis. Every single person that came up to ask a question began by saying, "DnA (Dan and Andy), your cosmic Marvel books are the best thing Marvel is doing right now!"Annihilation Conquest is a worthy sequel to Annihilation. This omnibus sadly is not without its flaws. The foremost of these is the layout of the issues inside. As with the previous Annihilation Omnibus the sections are split into their respective chunks beginning with Nova #1-3, Annihilation Conquest Prologue, Nova #4-7, Star-Lord mini, Quasar mini, Wraith mini, Nova #8-10, Nova Annual #1, Nova #11-12, and Annihilation Conquest #1-6. This layout is incorrect. Annihilation Conquest #1-6 and Nova #8-12 plus Annual #1 should be alternating until the finale. The correct reading order for the last 12 issues should be Nova #8, AC #1, Nova #9, AC #2 and so on ending with Nova #12 and then AC #6. These issues were originally released in this order as the writers intended it to be read. This layout keeps Nova involved during the main event and builds proper momentum towards the end when he finally returns for the climax. At least everything is included.As a result of this improper layout of issues a major spoiler is revealed in a Nova issue that shouldn't be known until beginning the main event, that of Ultron being in control of the Phalanx. Clearly Marvel disregarded keeping that a surprise altogether by their choice for the cover. It's a magnificent cover to be sure. I know Marvel was trying to boost sales of this omnibus by promoting Ultron in congruence with this summer's film Avengers: Age of Ultron. When Annihilation Conquest came out originally Ultron's reveal at the end of AC #1 was a huge surprise that no one saw coming! A very exciting moment that ramped up the tension and excitement of the story. Here that secret and reveal are given away before you even read the book undercutting much of the WOW factor of the story.The only other drawback to this collection is the partial inclusion of promotional materials. Marvel promoted this event by advertising the new character designs for Quasar, Adam Warlock, and Wraith. These are nowhere to be found in the book. They have included a one-sheet of Wraith which looks like a lead in to the others but none of them are there. These images can easily be found online and there is no reason why they shouldn't be included here. There are also several character profiles missing from the handbook. The omnibus is shorter than many others Marvel has produced so again there is no excuse for these missing materials.Other than those I have no complaints. The writing and artwork are some of the finest examples of Marvel's catalog. My criticisms are solely based on the collection herein, not the story or creative talents. This story is the first grouping of the modern Guardians of the Galaxy and hands down the best Ultron story Marvel has produced. You'd be doing yourself a favor by getting this. Hopefully next year we will receive the War of Kings total epic collected in Omnibus format (in proper reading order this time). I imagine it would take two omnibi to collect that story in its entirety. Let's hope they treat the material with the detail and respect it deserves.

Asrar, Klebs Jr, Paul Pelletier, and Tom Raney.While not quite as good, script-wise or even plot-wise, still Annihilation:Conquest is a fun cosmic adventure and showcases Nova and the Guardians of the Galaxy as valid patrons of Marvel Cosmic. The production quality by Marvel is excellent and is printed by RR Donnelly Asia Solutions, which seems to produce the most superior printed works. The painted cover is gorgeous and a great selection of Ultron on his throne.This omni and last year's Annihilation make me long for a return of epic Marvel Cosmic, the only worthy successor being the Guardians 3000 title that just ran its course (not coincidentally also scripted by Dan Abnett.)Wraith had a lot of promise as a new cosmic addition to the Marvel pantheon, but, unfortunately, his mini-series and inclusion in the overall event didn't fulfill this promise.In my opinion, the best cosmic artist is Paul Pelletier. Unfortunately, we only see two issues worth of his work. I would love to see him do another cosmic book for either Marvel, DC or Valiant (can you imagine him on Imperium?) I think he would be the perfect artist for the long-ago rumored Tony Bedard-scripted Silver Surfer story.If you were lucky enough to purchase Annihilation omnibus, you will likely enjoy this omnibus. Highly recommended.Update (7/16): As pointed out in the comment section, this collection has some fantastic artwork throughout.Phalanx first appeared in Uncanny X-men 305 and full form in 312 (1994), for those interested.

Phalanx Conquest By Jacob Alvarado The universe is just finding stability after the Negative Zone invasion as Nova returns to Earth to get some R&R but the Earth he has returned to is a Post Civil War one where superheroes all hate one another and Nova runs into the Thunderbolts. Phyla-Vell has kept the Quantum Bands from the end of Annihilation and become the new Quasar as she works with Moondragon. Peter Quill is helping set up a new Kree War-Net to stop anymore Annihilation events but that turns out to be the beginning of the end as the Phalanx machine race is able to infiltrate the Kree War-Net. Kree space is then blocked off from the rest of space.As with Annihilation we get the character stories that lead to them joining up in the big group event. Nova, just as with the last event is the best of the bunch but the 3rd set of his stories were not well placed in the Omnibus as they do give away parts of the story that hadn't happened yet. Nova must fight off the Phalanx as they attempt to control him using Gamora and Drax to bring him in to the fold. We follow Peter Quill as he becomes Star-Lord again and his Guardians of the Galaxy team is assembled as they try to take back Hala. Quasar is being spoken to by a mysterious voice leading her to the person needed to end this conflict but her Quantum Bands are failing and the Super Adaptoid is on her and Moondragon's trail. This mysterious being they are lead to is Adam Warlock. Next is Wraith, who wields a mysterious weapon that can disable the Phalanx. The Kree, used as puppets by the Phalanx capture him, Super Skrull and Prax who must break out of containment. We continue with Nova as he visits Knowhere before heading to the Phalanx homeworld looking for a way to beat them, this is the part where it is revealed in passing that Ultron is controlling the Phalanx despite the fact he has appeared yet.Now the main story is all these characters coming together to bring down the Ultron lead Phalanx Empire. The High Evolutionary comes into play since Adam Warlock plays such a major part.The book contains in-depth characters profiles on many of the events characters, cover galleries of Adi Granov's awesome work. The art is different for all the series included; I thought Nova, Star-Lord and the main event had the best stuff.

Earth is in trouble, and there is the always available new technology to help save the day. In lesser hands this would be fumbled. But we have a budding story teller here who has the ability to keep the balls in the air. Minor editing problems, but I'm willing to give that a pass because I found the story interesting and fun.

By Amazon Customer This book seems to have captured all of the features of a science fiction novel I look for.First of is the fantasy element, in order to not reveal much, I can only say is that the amount of science and magic is used did not over saturate the overall storytelling. A great deal of knowledge in engineering/science and research has obviously been consumed in order to describe the inner workings of this world’s devices, machinery, ships/vehicles and environment. And it’s amazing how the author managed to put it all together seamlessly. 5/5 starsSecondly is the adventure, this book not only takes its readers towards farthest edges of the universe but also towards deepest depths of our own oceans. I never felt disjointed to the books narrative even when at one portion of the book I was with Dr. Caldwell’s group in an underground cave somewhere in South America, then the next chapter I’m up in space with Rocky, an asteroid miner, with his initial mission to collect water from one of Jupiter’s moons. A few chapters later I am directed towards Harmony and her group somewhere in the lowest depths the Pacific Ocean and then I get to be in space again this time at Atlantis Observatory orbiting Earth, and then somehow I am brought back to the white house where I find the president… ok enough of the spoilers. Suffice to say that the author covered the bases on this category. 5/5 starsThird is the Action. I found a good amount of this in all directions. Whether it be through Indiana jones type where our adventurers are relic hunting, or encounters that I read through because of natural/unnatural elements you find in disaster/end of the world novels. It can also be found in a grand scale in terms of different countries looking to go to war with each other or through more intricate scenarios involving espionage and sabotage. 5/5 starsLastly is Comedy/Drama. This is one area where I find interesting. Characters in this book were so easy to like. Light humor was nicely provided, especially by a certain First Mate of a commandeered alien ship. For me, the major players have their backgrounds established well enough but the developing relationships somehow got vague. Initially I put the blame on the time jumps that was happening and though this might have been an oversight by the author. Well enough if found the reason towards the end of the book which somehow made me breathe a sigh of relief. 4.5/5Overall I would highly recommend this to adventure loving science fiction readers. I tried to search for other creations from this author and in my disappointment I couldn’t seem to find any others. Hopefully there is more to come of his works. 5/5

By Gustavo Pérez Aguilar Hola Cami, buenos días, bueno te cuento que leí tu libro, en primer lugar debo reconocer que la literatura erótica no es de mi predilección ya que cae generalmente en la trampa de calentar sin más pretensión que eso. Pero en tu historia descubrí varias cosas interesantes. La misma esta cargada de emociones que le llegan a quién la lee. El lector apreciará la rebeldía con que escribiste la historia, la valentía con que describes situaciones explicitas de sexo, incluso dentro de una iglesia, y donde no sobra ni una sola palabra en tu forma de escribir. Por lo que pude leer sos muy joven, pero esta claro que escribes desde hace mucho, muestras un oficio que no todos logran tener a tu edad. Hay un erotismo casi salvaje de principio a fin, y aún así nos quedamos con ganas de más. No dejes de escribir nunca. También quiero marcarte que hay dos cuestiones, que a mi modesto criterio, podían haber sido explotadas de mejor manera, La primera es el muy corto trecho entre el encuentro casual y puramente sexual entre ellos y el amor, es muy veloz, creo que podrías haber utilizado la transición en más palabras. Y la otra esta referida a la descripción de la orgía inicial. La mente humana funciona con la lógica de cuanto más menos. Es decir pones énfasis en lo general, en desmedro de lo particular. La situación caliente era lo que ocurría entre el hombre vestido de negro y la protagonista. Pero son solo detalles. Me gusta como escribís, y sobre todo me gusta mucho lo que expones al hacerlo, hay mucha pasión en tus manos !! Un beso grande !

Por lo general solo he hallado obras superfluas cuyo argumento no es más que la suma de circunstancias banales que llevan a sus protagonistas de una escena erótica a otra. El secreto de padre Alcázar, en cambio, resulta muy diferente. La novela narra la apasionante y tortuosa historia de amor entre una joven de diecinueve años y un cura. La joven, sensual e imprudente, no teme romper las convenciones, pero pronto descubre que el apuesto cura del que se ha enamorado es también un adicto al sexo. Esto sumirá a ambos en los torbellinos de una relación amorosa poco convencional que los arrastrará a temerarios juegos sexuales. Se trata además de una obra increíblemente divertida y salpicada con brillantes pinceladas de humor. Las oscilaciones de esta relación amorosa imposible, le permiten a la autora explorar con eficacia la psicologías de los personajes y mostrar las aristas más sórdidas de la Iglesia. Los giros argumentales de la novela resultan inesperados, el lector recorre sus páginas deseoso de saber qué ocurrirá en el siguiente capitulo, pero su autora siempre nos sorprende. El secreto de padre Alcázar es una obra que desborda erotismo, ironía, tensión y sorpresa; lo único que desea el lector es la próxima entrega, la próxima novela de Camila Flores.

Desde ya estoy esperando la segunda parte y la tercera y todas las que vengan. Bravo Cami Flores, sigue escribiendo por favor, no te canses nunca.

The author has done a great job explaining different morning routines, which will make everyday a good day. I started using the tips offered from this book and I feel so much better every morning. Instead of going straight to the coffee pot in the mornings like I used to, I start my day off with lemon water and it really does make me feel a lot better. I never thought making my bed right away would make such an impact on my life, it make me feel happy and I am going to continue doing that each morning. This book is great and I highly recommend it!
