The book focuses on Brian's point of view though it's about Alice, Brian and Kareena's adventure finding ways to stop the Aliens. After knowing things they didn't know they can do, the saviors started to transport them to different places letting them do things hesitantly. Will Alice, Brian and Kareena ever find a way to stop the saviors? Or they'll just go with the flow and do things according to the saviours' will?I give this book a 5 out of 5 stars! The book was great but I like the first book better. To explain it further, let's imagine this book as a movie. In my opinion, this book's the middle part. The end was a slight cliffhanger but it's fine. Besides, it's mostly what makes a book in a series.The characters were well developed! What I love about this book was it focused on Brian's point of view. Knowing what he feels intensified the plot of the book. I didn't know a large part of him was kind of serious! Reading the first book, I thought he was carefree. But I was totally wrong! Observing a person through his actions and knowing what he feels is very different. The angle's way too different that it all came as if.. Brian was just trying to make it look easy.I think this book's purpose was to get to know the characters well. Through reading this book, I can somehow say I know the main characters' weakness and all.Over all, it was fantastic! It's a great read especially for those who are really interested in sci-fi. I'm not a big fan of sci-fi books but this book caught me off guard. I didn't regret it though. It was worth it!**Once again, I just want to thank P. Anastasia for giving me the chance to review her book for free. This review is in no way biased. All opinions are mine.**

Anastasia has done it again with Book #2 in the Fluorescence series.Contagious picks up where Fire Starter left off. Alice and Brian are a couple now and continuing to deal with the threat from the Saviors. The Saviors have decided they mean serious business and the two find themselves dealing with even more scary situations. Kareena is along for the adventure and so is an intimidating and exciting new character, whose identity I won't spoil, because he'll keep you turning the pages. He is unpredictable, fun, and has a very interesting story.I have read a lot of sequels that couldn't sustain the momentum and this is not the case with Contagious. This book is fast paced, full of surprising twists, and is relatable. The characters feel very real. Brian is authentic and convincing. He makes you feel for him and by the end of the book you want him as your best friend.This author is very good at creating well rounded characters and giving them great voices and I really liked that the drama in the story never turns into melodrama. While they have their tense moments, Alice and Brian don't spend the book breaking up or angsting over whether they should be together.I can't wait for Book III.

Just when you thought things were heating up in the first volume, volume two will definitely have you biting your nails. This time, Alice's boyfriend -Brian Azure- is telling the story about alien DNA dwelling inside their bodies. This book really let's the readers know on how the characters are feeling and how they deal with the sudden obstacles that keep coming their way. Throughout the whole book, I felt like I was part of the journey as well while dealing with the pressure. Despite them being only teenagers, they act really mature with the decisions that they make, however they may face some harsh consequences soon. This sci-fi adventure continues to get more intense and thrilling. As soon as you reach the end, you will be prepared to order the third volume of the Fluorescence series.You won't be disappointed.
