Progatory continues the exciting twists and turns from the first book (Progtopia), yet it leaves the reader hanging at the end! Cannot wait for the 3rd book! There are great back stories of some of the characters from the 1st book with some new characters added. A lot of action in this book. A definite must-read for teens and adults alike!
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Could not put it down! By a_fan I just finished this book and my head is spinning. It is an amazing roller coaster ride from start to finish. Great characters and a compelling (and very frightening) story line. This book moves at a fast pace with lots of characters. McGrevey is weaving together two related story lines filled with excitement. These stories are fantastical stories set in the future. Yet they are quite believable at the same time. They are a stern warning about the evils of unfettered power and the courage required to stand for freedom. I highly recommend these books to adults and teens alike. I am eager for the third volume.

By killian I just finished Progatory, 2nd in the Progatopia series, and literally can't wait until the 3rd book comes out. What a great ending! The book is one that is hard to put down. It is an excellent sequel. McGrevey doesn't just give a quick one or two paragraph synopsis of the first book, but weaves the information throughout this book. The characters are well developed: some of them I love, but some I hate! It's a work of fiction, but an excellent commentary on what can happen when government gets too big. It will be interesting to see how it all turns out.
