This is a classic life after tragedy. I was the soldier who was left disabled after a ski crash, with a brain injury inc frontal lobe damage and fatigue, which has defied the natural realm that we see by running the London Marathon. This is unique as I have a mile by mile summary and I also made history at mile 23 to add the icing on my cake of a story. A gift has been fine tuned as a consequence of brain injury, by way of my creative writing, which can be seen in this story. By virtue of my recovery, I am now an inspiration and an authority for someone who has survived a brain injury, and kept his independence. Yes, I am not the same person since my brain injury, rather I now have valuable life coping strategies and now see my disability as a privilege, because not many people have lived to tell this tale. :)
