By Devin Alicia Harris Even for a short story, this book was thin on details, plot, and world building. I wanted to enjoy it, because it's always nice to find a zombie book with a female protag, and that isn't a survivalist's wet-dream, but the characters were just too flat, and events weren't depicted with any particular detail. "This happened, then that happened, and the twins were scared" pretty much sums things up.Incidentally, this is the second zombie book I've seen recently where they use "rabid" for the zombies. I guess we've moved on from super-flu and fungal infection.

The author needs to slow down and breathe. The pace is so fast that she missed out in adding details to each scene. The characters are likeable but need more information on them to make them more human than just names on paper. Outside from that, this books is an enjoyable read. Christina even ended it on a cliffhanger that works.
