Well Written and Hot By Page LaRue To avoid repeating the blurb or giving away too much of the story, I’ll just say if you like BDSM erotica, this novella is hot. It’s also well written.The characters all rang true, from Lily the ex-governess, to Lady Montgomery, to Lord Harcourt. Well, of course some of it seemed a little too over-the-top to really be true but after all, it is erotica.In some places, Lily’s language didn’t seem to me like the sexual terms she would actually use, but then I’m not sure what someone from her place and time actually would say. Also, some readers might not like how she didn’t seem to have much choice in accepting this deal in the first place. Her mother was extremely ill and needed resources beyond what Lily had. Of course, this is fiction so that’s just a heads-up for those who would disapprove anyway.I don’t think the cover matches the story. It’s too modern and the man looks too young and small to be Lord Harcourt.The problems were very minor, though, and in my opinion not worth taking off a star over. I highly recommend this story for anyone who likes this type of read.
