0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Excellent! By Chloegirl I always enjoy Dorothy Howell's books & this one is right up there!!! This is the third book in the Dana Mackenzie series. This time Dana gets tangled up in a murder when she receives an early morning emergency call from her best friend. Things heat up as she tries to prove Julia's innocence, figure out what her brother Rob is hiding, deal with work problems, & sort out her feelings & relationship with ex boyfriend Nick. With everything hitting at one time Dana fights to hold on to her sanity. From beginning to end I found I was kept on the edge of my seat!! I was pleased with the book & hope there will be more books in this series in the future.

There's a great mystery, romance, and great characters. What really blew me away though was how perfectly executed the final scene was. The author did an amazing job at showing several characters reacting to something. It was perfect. I can't recommend this book enough.

Even though it is a short story, I found myself just as wrapped up as I was with the first two books in the series.The books in the Dana Mackenzie Mystery series are titles that I highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.
