By Marie W Friedlander Elise inspired me with her first book: "40 Days to Enlightened Eating" to truly love the art of cooking again and to bring healthy foods into every meal in a simple, affordable and fun way. She will change how you not only think of food but in how you relate to eating and in turn you will feel amazing. It absolutely will "empower your well being and nurish your soul". This cookbook was born out of that love and passion to expand our knowledge and love of being the best we can be. The recipes are easy and taste amazing. She is such an incredible cook and artist and when you combine that energy with her yoga back ground it just explodes with inspiration. I can not say this loud enough....buy her book and learn to love yourself again! This is a lifestyle that every body can embrace!

I am especially pleased in the way it is organized, making it simple to pick and choose healthy yet easy to prepare meals. Elise Cantrell is an excellent communicator and author -- I am highly impressed and I recommend this book to everyone! It has recipes for vegetarians, meat eaters, and even vegans! And, most importantly I have had the privilege of talking with Elise about her beliefs in eating natural, fresh food with NO GMO's! Despite what people say, this is absolutely a life saving way to move through life. Eating healthily and hey, when you do that, you wind up managing your weight and being a better version of yourself whilst preparing wonderful meals for all!

It is a fabulous compliment to the "40 Days to Enlightened Eating" book. There is even an appendix that shares ways to save money by eating healthy. The author knows how to take a few ingredients, add some spices and create a fantastic dish. I think what I enjoy most about using this cookbook is the ease of the recipes. There is not an exhaustive list of steps to create one dish. It also provides great detoxing recipes which taste great and provide a strong start to changing ones overall dietary lifestyle.
