2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Good but rushed...a little SPOILER By ObsessiveReader I enjoyed the story. Sadly I felt the end was rushed. Piper is hiding from a crazy ex who killed her family. The same day she finds out she doesn't have to hide anymore, someone else tries to kill her twice and you quickly find out who it is and why that same day... happy ever after. Would have been nice if it had been drawn out more.

A short fast paced story of family loyalty and revenge By SEB This was a very fast read...one of those books that just keeps on moving and keeps you involved with the story and the characters. I have to say I was at first not sure how I would feel about this story since it is another one of many biker books where a rich guy is stalking a young woman and she is forced to run away to either her father or brother's club for protection...but after getting past that issue, I really appreciated that the characters behaved in a more mature way and kept things real.When Piper reaches out to her step-brother for help, he doesn't throw her into a bad situation nor does she get treated like a club whore (good so far) and when Kix arrives on the scene to merge the clubs, he turns out to be a bigger/better man than how he could have been written.Piper is surprisingly strong and fearless when it comes to Kix and the author didn't milk the whole "poor damaged girl" thing which gets annoying when you've read it too many times.A short novella with a few predictable moments but well written and a pretty entertaining plot that left me wanting more...wish it had been longer with a bit more details.I received a free copy of this book for an honest review.**** 4 **** "no place left to run and hide" stars

After reading the first few differences pages I didn't think I was gonna like it. Long in the hold this little book was great. I really wish it was longer there so much more that we could learn about the mc. I really wanted to learn more about the bikers. In not one for instant love but it worked in this book.Piper had a trouble past and you will never figure out the outcome. Than there is wick her brother which I didn't expect him to be loving but he was. Oh and we have the usual club whores and bikers. But when a larger Club wants to help the rebels things will change for Piper. Will she still be safe??? Your going to have to read. This book is a great quick read and all the characters will have you itching for more.My suggestion to the author you have a goo series here, expand the books.
