Each planet is populated with the various races and cultures from Earth's past, seeing new forms of governments spread throughout the galaxy. With these new galaxies comes new problems, such as issues of jurisdiction over crimes that span over multiple planets. Once more, mankind turns to the Cybers, now in their third generation, to act as mediators in these disputes, all in an effort to keep war from breaking out. Someone isn't happy with the way that man has evolved, taking it upon themselves to harness the power of the third gen Cybers, utilizing their wireless control program to inflict terror upon the galaxy. Now, people like Agent Nathan Calloway and Major David Ballistar must race against the clock to stop terrorism from spreading throughout the galaxy. Sons of Abraham, Volumes One through Three, is just one snowball on top of an enormous mountain of adventures that await the reader. I remember reading just Volume 1 not so long ago, and being blown away by it. When I saw that the entire set was now up for grabs, I immediately purchased and read right through them all. It's a massive collection, but one that you won't be sorry for reading.. There is so much action and suspense involved, with such intricate storylines, you won't ever want it to come to an end.Set in 3026, things have changed dramatically. Somewhere around the 2500s, mankind as we know it struggled to sustain life on earth, due to limited resources and billions upon billions of new population. People were left starving, with no real way to cope. When the powers to be can't figure out a solution, the next best thing is to build the greatest mind. This is when the Cybers were invented. They were extremely hard to solve every complex issue, in order to help mankind. And help is what they did. However, 500 years later, mankind still has a ton of issues to contend with. The Cybers are now in their third generation, and they are called upon to help out once again. However, certain people aren't thrilled with the way they are operating, and take it upon themselves to harness their power. It is now up to Nathan to David to help the world, and stop the terrorism in order to save mankind.There is SO much more to these stories than I can ever get into. All I can say is, I'm blown away by the writing of Joseph Ray, and I truly feel as if this is the best Sci-fi trilogy out there today. It is filled with action and adventure, and will definitely keep you wanting more. Highly recommend, you won't be sorry.

His writing is superb, way better than the rest. This particular Sons of Abraham collection is the entire series, composing of volumes 1, 2 and 3. At around 550 pages, this is a pretty long read, but worth every second of your time.The year is 3026. which is way more ahead in the future than most books in this particular genre. During the 2500s, mankind had issues with maintaining their populations, due to the fact that resources were quickly vanishing while the population continued to grow as a massive amount. When you have more people than you have food supply, the natural occurance is, people begin to starve. Even the most brilliant minds couldnt figure out this problem, so they decided to build something that would; the Cybers. The Cybers were built by scientists, and the first generation of them were able to solve the issues and save mankind.Over 500 years later, the human race is still facing some issues that they cant seem to solve on their own. The population is quickly dying out, and people are unable to feed themselves. New planets begin to arise and form their own civilization, learning from the mistakes of the Earth. However, with anything else, new planets also have their own set of problems to deal with. In come the Cybers, who once again are summoned to save the human race.A lot of action and suspense in this collection, but it kept me turning the pages for more. I was sad when Volume 3 was over, but in a good way. This author clearly has a lot of talent, and I look forward to reading more of his work in the future.

This is the complete set of all three Sons of Abraham volumes by Joseph Ray. In it we are set in the year 3026 which is far enough for the unbelievable to be made possible and but possibly too far for us to understand everything that is happening.While I honestly completely love where much of the story takes us I feel that with that big of a time jump we should have more personal tech changes over what was given us. Still, aside from that I'm loving what hes put together.In the novel we see an Earth decimated by mankind which cant support our population. We've had to travel to the stars and not only take new planets to live on but terraform even more to bring food back to our own dying world which now barely supports the billion souls still left on it.The solutions to our overpopulation, lack of food, and so much more comes in the form of Cybers. Men with highly enhanced mechanical brains who are set to solve Earths greatest problems. Each of the books have the Cybers playing key roles in how mankind is moving forward, only using them in vastly different ways for largely different problems.For the size it would be a decent sized single novel and should keep you pretty hooked for a fast read. You wont be following all of the same characters through the novels but the development of who you're introduced to is well written and helps draw you into a world that is both familiar and fantastic in nature. I'm really curious to not only read more of the world that Ray has built but also to see him take on more science fiction down the line.
