Jeff has a knack of story telling that can be enjoyed by all age groups. His audience is much younger than me, but I really enjoy reading his books. All of his works have one thing in common: there is a higher power that is in charge. He never mentions this power by name, but is obvious. His heroes are always guided by something good and they always defeat something evil. I recommend anything written by Jeffrey Quyle. I have read all of his books and have never been disappointed.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. more mainstream epic fantasy By Mark Brown This story is like many of Quyle's other books, and I look forward to a new series and new adventures. There's a hero who has no roots or ties, set adrift with great forces pushing him about. The pace is a little slower than the other beginnings of fantasy series the author has written, but it still delivers a good story.
