Legends in England tell that in the 13th Century two unusual children were discovered near the village of Woolpit... a boy and a girl who were dressed strangely, didn't speak English, and had GREEN SKIN. Since that time, many authors have speculated that the Green Children of Woolpit were fairies, visitors from space, or lost children with an unusual disease. In this study by Garth Haslam you will find the first recorded accounts of the Green Children (as well as a newer false version of the story) and you will discover what can be learned from them!

Something very strange about this story is that it reads as folklore and it's way too short. If this did actually happen there should be way more detail and a lot more to say about where they came from and how they lived. You would also think that repeated attempts is not not constant attempts to find the cave would have been made until their death. They mentioned they could not find the cave where they came from so they gave up just like that. If in fact the people that took them in truly believed they where extraterrestrial you would think someone would have seriously documented it. Maybe I'm wrong about the attitude back in the day and people where like "oh, so your an alien. Ok cool, well here are some beans and let's learn some English. But wait! are you Christian ? yes? ok good no more questions needed. All we get are they live in dim light like dusk and they are green. Surely people of the day had more questions than that. They could have written a huge book on these kids and what they new about another land, planet, or dimension or whatever. Maybe someone can make up some of the gaps and make a scifi movie about it.

It's a very short book about an intriguing subject - unfortunately, since the incident occurred in the 12th century there is no way to verify the information - this incident was brought to light by an episode of "Ancient Aliens" from Season 8 entitled "The Other Earth"
