This is not a cookbook, it's a cheesy little brochure type of publication. Not a single picture other than the one on the front cover. For $6.99 I was expecting something way better than this. Do yourself a favor and save your money, not worth it at even half the price!

The book itself made what would normally have been a boring 10 hour drive into a food adventure! So many delicious places we would have driven right past without a thought! The dive recipes are to die for as well.

If you are looking low calorie you won't find it, if you are looking for great down home recipes this is a great book for that.

There are so many awesome things to say about this book that I'm not quite sure where to start. I picked this for a diverse read. I that I was going to be getting a good story since it was published by Tu Books. (In case you didn't know, Tu Books focuses on diverse young adult science fiction.)This was a great glimpse in Japanese culture. This had depth, meaning and connection. ot was wan't overwhelming , but it also didn't feel as if it was just placed in the story as window dressing. This actually had everything that I could want in a good book: characters that I liked and cared about, suspense and mystery that had me guessing all the way to the end, great pacing for the story and a heroine that I could believe in.Claire Takata was not perfect, but, I think that is what made her character so believable. She was a bit whiny, and I hate to admit it, but most girls have thier whiny moments. She was also strong, brave and very capable of taking care of herself. Her position of being the only girl in a group of boys was fitting, somehow.Lately, I've been having trouble with romance in YA, but I am glad to say that it worked in this book. Not everything that happened was your run of the mill stuff. And everything wasn't wrapped up nice and neatly. But... every question was answered, even if it was complicated.Even though I focused on Claire, the other characters were well thought out and developed. They had their own quirks and endearing charms. I really enjoyed this work, and will be looking forward to more from this author.

Awesome Boys, Strong Girl By Suey Short Synopsis: When Claire discovers a letter hidden away addressed to her new dad, from her old dad (who is dead), she thinks, what is up? She had no idea that her fathers knew each other. She starts looking into it, asking questions, making phone calls and generally digging into things she's not supposed to. Pretty soon, her life is being threatened and she's not sure what the connection is. Just that there is one. Her brothers and her best friends that are boys help her along the way.My Response: So, I really enjoyed the character bits and the relationships and the connections in this one. I enjoyed all the boys. Boys are awesome. I really love boys. These guys reminded me of the crowd in the Raven Boys books. Only different. But similar. Anyway. But the mystery aspects of this story had me glazed over. You know I'm not a big mystery fan! And yeah, it shows when we have our characters looking up stuff and trying to figure out stuff and I'm all, yeah, okay... on with the story!!Bottom Line: If you love mysteries, especially ones laced with a bunch of cool Japanese culture, you'll dig this book. If you love boys working with one strong girl, you'll also love this book! Put the two together and you have it made!

By Don Marske A fun and intriguing account of a young Japanese girl and her brazen investigation into her patient and understanding stepfather's secret life in the yakuza (Japan's organized crime) and his relationship with her deceased and revered father. She engages her siblings and close friends in her investigation which raises the tension. The story also makes several references to Japanese cultural customs.

An interesting read By Sefina Hawke I enjoyed reading Clean Food Amazing Body: Happy Lifestyle by Mary M.D. The book proved to be very informative on how to be healthy by eating clean food. The section I found the most interesting was the one on healthy food that will give you energy in your daily diet. I enjoyed learning about healthy all natural ways to get more energy that do not involve caffeine. This book was well written and the language was all in easy to understand English that anyone could comprehend without difficulty.

By Carol M Pile Never been to Montana, never been able to be part of small-town Fourth of July festivities, never had older brothers - but not to worry, after reading "Sky's Fireworks" I feel like I've been through all of it. This author has a wonderful way of putting the reader right into the center of all the activities as well as the angst and eventual personal growth of the characters - each of them, not just the central character. I am sitting here writing this review and not in church this morning because I was up really, really late finishing this book - just could not put it down!

Had a Hard Time Putting It Down By Voracious Reader Sky Fischer's friend at work set her up with a pretend boyfriend to make the guy back home jealous and hopefully notice her when she goes there to celebrate the Fourth with her family. Brody Boone seems to know a lot more about her than she does about him. Although their offices are close at the bank, she's rarely been aware of him. As the weekend progresses there's drama with her brothers, and she begins to gradually wonder how much Kevin has changed from the person she knew and fell in love with. He doesn't even seem like the same person most of the time. And Boone somehow manages to do all the right things, despite the hard times he's gone through growing up. This may just be the most interesting Fourth of July ever.I really got into this book and had a hard time putting it down. It was extremely well done until I got to the end. The ending was okay, and there was a HEA, but it was weak and I wanted more. With a strong ending, it would have knocked it out of the park. Still, the rest was so good it deserved at least a 4.5, which would have rounded up to a five anyway.

By Reality in Frames I was blessed with an advanced copy of Sky's Fireworks. If you've read Cynthia Bruner's previous Montana Weekend Novellas, you know how fun and smooth to read her writing is. If you haven't read the other two in this Montana Weekend Novella series, please read them, they are wonderful! This story of Sky over the Fourth of July weekend is quite captivating! I found this story very relatable. I remember being a single young lady and having my mind set on someone that may or may not be right for me, but the obsessive thoughts about that person blinded me to their faults, as well as to others possibilities around me. I hope you all enjoy getting lost in this lovely, small, make-believe town in Montana. I know I did!!

It picks up right where the last book left off, there's no '2 years have elapsed since we last saw our hero' type thing. The book literally picks up at the next moment. This book is a fitting fulfillment of the broken prism series. We learn much more about the hero's father, how our hero came to be, and what his future will be. The action is intense and keeps the pages turning. Even during the down time, the story holds you through a connection to the characters. Overall, I'd love to more of the series or to follow the hero and his friends a little longer.

As I have come to expect, the writing is wonderful, the story-line is exciting, and the book was hard to put down.A great finish to the story leaving out no details on the many questions that I had needing answers. The finish was strong and wrapped everything up very nicely. Loved this entire series and I am looking forward the next publication from St. Clair

I'm so sad it's over. Now I have to wait for the prequel.Amazing author. I plan to start reading her other books very soon! If they are as great as this series was, I imagine I won't be able to put them down either.

About the Author Dr. David R. Reagan is the Founder and Senior Evangelist for Lamb and Lion Ministries, a Bible prophecy ministry located in the Dallas, Texas area. Before founding the ministry in 1980, Dr. Reagan served for 20 years as a university professor, teaching international law and politics. Throughout that time he was an ardent student of the Bible. Since 1980 Dr. Reagan has taught Bible prophecy in meetings and seminars held all across America and around the world. His weekly television program, Christ in Prophecy, is broadcast throughout the United States and internationally. An Important Book for the Day in Which We Live By William Struse We watch as the social order around us collapses and each day it becomes harder to hold the line in a world which seems to have gone insane. If you are looking for Biblical encouragement and advice on how to strengthen your walk in these last days before the Messiah return I recommend you read this book by David Reagan.In this book Living for Christ in the End Times: Coping with Anarchy and Apostasy, David Reagan provides Christian’s with a three part exploration of the subject:Part I: The Descent Into Paganism, catalogs the apostasy in the church and the collapse of society.Part II: The Christian Response to a Pagan World, provides a ten chapter manual for countering the apostasy and societal devolution.Part III: The Victory Over Paganism, the author reminds us that ultimately our hope lies Yeshua and His righteous rule upon this earth.David Reagan is a notoriously direct Bible prophecy teacher who tells it like he sees it. Frankly, I thought Mr. Reagan’s direct approach in this book was refreshing and just what many of us in the church today need to shock us out of our Laodicean like apathy. To be fair I do have disagreements with Mr. Reagan on some of the finer points of Bible prophecy but those disagreements did not in any way undermine my appreciation for the timely message of this book. This is a book every Christian would benefit from reading.

David as always has an easy read with easy to understand solutions. Nothing is easy, especially following Christ, but in the end it will be worth all the sacrifice. Read this book then follow up,with Bible reading and prayer. Draw close to Christ because He is coming soon.
