"I Still Want It" brought me to tears and stopped me in my tracks emotionally so that I had to put my kindle down and pick it up the next day. The emotional and mental upheaval didn't just stop there. Reading this reminded me of reading 'The Prophet' by Kahlil Gibran. I couldn't rush through though I wanted to. I had to take my time and let it all marinate. I may have to read it through a few more times, actually. Well done. Well done.

It's refreshing to hear it from a man's point of view. We never really hear their feelings on the front line, often assuming makes a you-know-what out of ourselves, but to read the feelings/validations of a man's point of view is very refreshing. Great read!!!! I know God doesn't duplicate but it would be nice to have a man like Derrick duplicated for us all to have. lol I'm just saying!! :)
