I really did not know what to expect before starting this one, but the synopsis and the cover just called out to me and I knew that this was one book that I had to read. I am so glad that I answered that call, because Shattered Memories was an amazing read! From the very first page I was hooked with the unique story line and the captivating characters. Alana is one of those characters and I couldn't help but pull for her as she tried to regain her memories from that awful night her parents and sister were brutally murdered. She always stayed true to her belief that there was no way she could have done such a horrible thing even knowing that if she ever found out the truth, she was destined to die regardless. Daniel is another character that I just fell in love with. Doing everything in his power to prove that the girl he so desperately loved was innocent and in the process risking his life. The other supporting characters really rounded out this amazing story and made it a fun and enjoyable read. This whole story was simply fantastic and well extremely well-written. I loved that the author gives the reader a brief history lesson on how this dismal world and way of life came to be which really gave me a better understanding of the events in the story. With every page, I literally was holding my breath at times needing Alana to remember the past year of her life - not only to prove her innocence, but remembering the love that her and Daniel had for one another. The ending left me breathless and I really did not expect the outcome - not one bit. Matter of fact, it left me in tears and angry, but also left me full of hope and happiness. I know, confusing, right? But in all seriousness, Ms. Harris really drew me into this story with the unique plot and her effortless writing - I loved every second of it!Overall, Shattered Memories is an utterly captivating and engrossing read that was unique and exciting. It's a definite must read for fans of dystopian fiction who are craving something uniquely fresh and thrilling.

Spending much of her prison time wondering what would possess her to kill off the family that she loved, Alana only wishes that she could remember what really occurred during that horrendous event. At least Daniel Costello, her psychologist, holds out hope that by releasing her suppressed memories, she may be able to prove her innocence. Alana has also forgotten that Daniel happened to be her boyfriend prior to her drastic life change. But with only two and a half months left before she turns 18, Daniel has to find a way to trigger Alana's memories and expose the truth before she is executed.SHATTERED MEMORIES is a futuristic story with a Romeo-and-Juliet twist. Debut author Susan Harris introduces readers to the 2030s, a world steeped in a mix of Irish history and a dystopian environment. Zeroing in on Alana and Daniel, her principal characters, Harris uses split first-person narratives to open windows into the mindsets of these lovers and to develop her well-rounded cast. Among her list of characters is a small but definitive choice of colorful protagonists and brutally malevolent antagonists. While the supplemental characters carry their distinct qualities in their own right, these qualities are also cleverly used as foils to expand Alana's and Daniel's traits to their full extent.Another exceptional feature of Harris's plot is the way she has chosen to shape her chapters. While alternating between Alana's and Daniel's accounts and related flashbacks, Harris includes chapter subtitles that reflect lyrical quotes from various Indie, alternative, and folk rock bands and soloists. Examples include Paramore, Muse, YouMeAtSix, Jack Savoretti, Charlie Simpson, Evanescence, Bring Me the Horizon, and a whole slew more that Harris also lists on her website, http://susanharrisauthor.weebly.com/. Truly, if readers really want to get the full effect of Harris's plot, they should either play the correlated chapter tunes as background music, or prior to delving into the chapters.Replete with un-clichéd everything, including cliffhanger chapter closures and breath-stopping ticking-clock scenarios, SHATTERED MEMORIES is one immensely gripping read that is earmarked to be an award-winner.Originally posted on Teenreads.comAnita Lock, book reviewer

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Flawed, but almost worth it for the grovel By Clio Reads Yesterday, I read the prequel novella to this book, Angel. It was free, and in my brief review, I said that it had done it's job: I intended to read on in the series. Harlot is the next installment, and it was a fast read, and a not entirely satisfying one. At 123 pages, it's longer than a novella but not by much, and I think the brevity was part of my disappointment: there was not a lot of room for character development or anything but a pretty basic story arc.Harlot is set in the American West (Colorado) in 1875. Caleb loved Jessica, the town doctor's daughter, his whole life, but he felt he had to make something of himself before he could offer for her, so he went to California for two years to seek his fortune in the gold rush. He came home having done so, only to find that in his absence, Jessica became the town harlot. Furious, Caleb offered her $25 to be his whore for the week.Of course, it's clear to the reader from the start that Jessica only did what she did out of desperation, so Caleb's fury -- especially since he didn't keep himself pure in California, either -- is pretty offensive. Toward the end of the story, Jess finally points out this hypocrisy, and to his credit, Caleb gets what an ass he's been and makes a pretty good grovel, but I found it very tough to get in his corner until then.I've noticed in reading Victoria Dahl's contemporary romances that her sex scenes are often not my cuppa, and that was true here as well. A lot of Dahl's stories, as here, cater to a humiliation kink -- where the man calls the woman "slut" and other offensive names, and does things with the express intent of degrading her, and she gets off on it. I understand that that turns some peoples' crank, but to me it's like a dousing in ice water: it totally pulls me out of the scene and turns me off. So, I didn't like the smexy parts much.I was also disappointed by where Angel's protagonists, Bill and Melisande, end up. They are still together and in love, but I hoped for a happier happy ending for them.In the end, this book didn't totally work for me, but if, like me, romances with prostitute protagonists are your catnip, or if you enjoy a good grovel, you might want to check Harlot out anyway.

Make me laugh at eggplant emoticon penis jokes and my heart and wallet is yours! I even forgive you for giving me a complex about my purple hair. It’s not to keep people at arm’s length, but because pink does NOT go well with my skin tone. ;-)Right. The book. Caleb left his childhood sweetheart, Jess, at home while he earned enough money to start their lives together. Two years later, he returns to find that she’s become a whore living on the edge of town. Jess, without Caleb’s support, had to make some hard choices. Where does that leave them? See! Fun premise!I really like Dahl’s sex scenes. They just keep getting better and better. Here, sex isn’t just lust driven insta-chemistry sex. The sex is power, control, angst, redemption, punishment, and forgiveness. Yeah, and a healthy dose of lust, too. Hooray! For an entire book with forgiveness as a huge theme, I actually enjoyed it. I know. This is shocking everyone who knows my hard stance of never ever forgiving anyone…even completely fictional characters in books. I was actually fine with Caleb and Jess getting a happily ever after!I’m not thrilled with the novella length. The relationship definitely felt rushed. I think it’s so hard for authors to successfully cram backstories, strong secondary characters, and character growth in the limited word counts of novellas. This would have been a five star book! More books please! The only other thing that wasn’t perfect was when Caleb calls it rape. I need my GoodReads friends to pick this up so we can discuss. I may even force the husband to read it while I wait for you all to get moving. So, read it already!

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. I give Harlot a deeply rooted 3.5 stars. By Samantha Pereira I found this novel, like the last few I've read, to be a bit rushed. Maybe it's just me but that's what it felt like. I did, however, love the premise of this novel. After reading it I loved the undertone of empowering females especially placing it in a time when women really didn't have much power regardless of race, social class, and so forth.Caleb and Jess had young love but that wasn't enough for Jess to hold onto the belief that he would be back for her. Jess did what she had to do in order to survive with the death of her father, the debts he left behind, and having nothing and no one to rely on but herself. She sold off her virginity and was thus branded a harlot by the same people she knew all her life.Caleb comes back into town and finds he was deceived by his step-father, Jess hadn't moved on with another man but was selling herself instead. Caleb is angry and tells Jess he'll pay for what she's given to others. His anger gives way to flood his system with how much he cares for her. He begins to get the answers he needed and the truth of the situation falls into place. The two lovers tangle together and Caleb does whatever he can to have her with him. He wants to marry her but he'll take whatever she's willing to give him because he loves her. There's a moment where Jess tells him she had sex involving money because she needed the money to survive while men have sex with whoever they want and aren't viewed as less than anyone. In that moment the reality of being a woman left with nothing seeps into Caleb and he's a genuinely good man because he is able to see it from a different perspective. In a time when women were more property and baby makers than anything, Caleb is able to realize how unfair society is and how he wrongly treated Jess after learning she was no longer a virgin and sold her body in order to survive.

11 of 11 people found the following review helpful. 4.5 stars for this contemporary GFY/coming out By V. Rundell of V's Reads I really enjoyed this contemporary M/M romance, which is also a GFY story.Jay Hill is the talk of his Mississippi town. He's newly divorced from his high school sweetheart, Bethany, and returned to his hometown to raise his two kids (16 y/o son and 12 y/o daughter) near their maternal grandparents. Jay and Bethany have an amicable divorce; she's realizing her career dreams by going back to college in Atlanta, and he's content to live a slower-paced life as a manager at a local lumber plant. People there don't understand how Jay and Bethany split, however, and his in-laws aren't pleased that the kids aren't being raised in a church home. And, he's tired of the churchy women he keeps getting introduced to. Scandalous!Landon Petty has been working two jobs for his father's lumber business, despite his degree in History and aspirations to teach. He's so relieved that Jay is hired to take some of the load off his shoulders, but he's not happy to find his former babysitter so god-awful attractive. Landon's gay and out to his parents, but he's very circumspect and quiet in his hometown. He takes himself three hours away for anonymous hook-ups, and it's tiring. As Jay spends more time alone, when his kids go to his in-law's for a weekend visit, he has trouble in his empty house. So, he invites Landon out to watch a football game at a local bar. They hit it off, and it's a fast friendship, one Jay and Landon really cherish.Landon keeps his attraction so quiet, but it's not long before Jay starts to see Landon in a strange (for him) new light. He enjoys their companionship, and is frightened and confused as his friendly feelings begin to turn into attraction. What I really liked about this story is the long development of the friendship and eventual breach into sex. That worked, as both men are fairly lonesome, and had developed a steady friendship. Jay is alerted to Landon's sexuality by a nasty busybody, and it flips a switch for him. Experimenting with gay porn opens new chambers in Jay's brain, unlocking memories of his childhood close friendships with boys. I really thought Jay's introspection was honest. And, I appreciated that he sought help sorting out his feelings, and was honest about it with Landon. Their candor was refreshing.Landon was a rock, even when he wanted to crumble. He said "no pressure" regarding coming out, and he meant it. And he lived it. He thrilled to every kiss or touch, and yet he was willing to walk if Jay couldn't handle it.While I was angry regarding Bethany's initial reaction to Jay and Landon, I think she redeemed herself about 90% after sleeping on it. Jay was a far stronger character in the end, than the beginning. His kids were excellently written. Seriously, I wanted to kiss Clint for being an excellent big brother and the sounding board both his parents needed. There are some fantastic sexytimes, and a beautiful, realistic relationship between two admirable, ordinary men. Expect some editing issues regarding continuity in the plot. Those mostly get smoothed over by the second half.

I have really come to enjoy this author’s tales of romance and his style of writing and this particular story was the perfect balance of sweetness, angst and piping hot sexy times.Thirty-six year old Jay Hill’s marriage to his high school sweetheart, Beth, may have not worked out; however, he is bound and determined to be the stability that his two children need. He’s recently taken on a managerial position at a mill in the small town he grew up in and has set up a home for himself and his children. He’s still on great terms with his ex-wife and his son and daughter often go and stay with their mom who is pursuing her career in the city. Jay may get lonely for some adult companionship at times, but he is embracing the single life and for the first time is loving the fact that life is relaxed and uncomplicated. Jay’s bubble is burst when he comes face to face with someone who makes him question all he believes himself to be. Suddenly, Jay’s life is anything but uncomplicated.Twenty-eight year old Landon Petty has taken on more than his share of responsibility at his father’s sawmill. When his father indicates he has hired a new manager, it’s certainly a relief for Landon as some of the workload that falls on his shoulders will lessen. And, when Landon discovers the new employee will be none other than Jay Hill, he can’t help but remember the massive crush he had on him as a young teen. Jay starts at the mill and Landon is reminded just how gorgeous he is. But, it’s not like Landon can act on his feelings of lust. Right? After all, Jay is as straight as they come. He’s been married for goodness sake! He’s definitely straight as an arrow. Isn’t he?Landon and Jay develop a somewhat tentative friendship and soon discover that they get along famously and have much in common. Landon is unsure if he will always be able to keep his feelings in check when it comes to Jay and the closer they get, the harder it becomes. However, Jay is struggling with his own personal inner turmoil. He finds himself thinking more and more about Landon, and not always in a friendly platonic manner either. He simply can’t fathom how he’s reached the age of thirty-six and has never thought of another male in the way he thinks of Landon. Perhaps it the way Jay compartmentalizes everything. He’s good at shoving things into boxes putting them away on the highest shelves.I loved how Jay and Landon slowly fell into one another - the insecurities, the awkward beginning, the desire, the passion. It was all there and so realistically done. Jay struggles with all that his heart is telling him when it comes to Landon. He has no idea how to handle this new turn in his life, how he is going to handle telling his children and ex-wife. Once our two protagonists reveal how they truly feel about one another the progression of their relationship is natural and sweet despite the uncertainties. Jay is so inexperienced and I simply loved how supportive and patient Landon was. The only thing Landon is certain about is the fact that he wants Jay to be a big part of his present and his future. The pair have a few obstacles to overcome and have a bit to work out and their happy forever is not going to come super easy; however, they both know real when they see it and what they share is worth the fight.I really did enjoy reading Borrowing Trouble. It is a touching novel about embracing who you are and facing the obstacles that may stand in your way head on. Let’s face it, how many of us start lasting relationships effortlessly and flawlessly? Anything real and worth it is always going to be messy, mistakes will be made and the awkwardness is simply part of it all. When I finished the book I had a huge smile on my face. This was a wonderful, character-driven romance, a book that left me happily sighing.Reviewed by Lisa

By Smitten with Reading My Review:There's a line in the story description about this book about "things get complicated"...that is something that doesn't happen in this story. This is a straight-forward, sweet romantic story that was simply an entertaining, light read. I liked these two guys and the story of the way they connect.Jay is the conflicted character in this story. Whoa, my heart hurt for him. Until Landon, he really didn't have the first inkling that he was gay or bi or whatever...definitely not completely straight. And suddenly all the things that didn't seem quite right in his marriage suddenly makes much more sense.I loved that aspect of this story line, because I think there are guys and girls out there that may skirt the edges...maybe bi, maybe gay, but it simply never occurs to them that they could be something other than hetero because that idea never comes into play. This story takes place in small-town, rural south (I think Mississippi? I don't really remember exactly where.) But I live in small town Texas and I can guarantee you that for a lot of people here, they are in the same situation. It's just simply accepted that a person is hetero...there's no question about that being a fact. Another option never even comes to mind. And I find that's somewhat sad because I'd guess there's more people out there like Jay than most people would guess.I loved the very believable explanation for Jay and how this happened. He's a personality that doesn't like to dwell on things. He doesn't "borrow trouble" so anything that might cause waves is compartmentalized in his brain. He shoves it to the side and doesn't deal with those things. I bought it completely and wholly. So, Jay is suddenly having to deal with this whole new reality. At the same time, he's learning a new job, participating in this new relationship, and finding out about a whole new approach toward sex...this isn't a light change in his life.In the midst of all this is Landon. He's the company owner's son and he doesn't hide the fact that he's gay, but he doesn't flaunt it either. He works in a lumber mill with a lot of guys who wouldn't understand. On paper, he also works for Jay, and doesn't want to out him in this small town either. It is a complicated situation.Like I said, I enjoyed this book. I liked Jay and Landon together. Landon is a pretty laid-back personality too, so he is the perfect one to be paired up with Jay while he's sorting through the VERY complicated junk in his head...something Jay isn't used to doing.I'm a big gay-for-you fan, and this book isn't quite that, but it definitely ticked that box for me and that made it a great read in my book. I'd definitely recommend it.Also, it should be noted...I LOVE Landon's dad. He's a good old boy and most definitely isn't comfortable with the fact that Landon is gay. BUT he loves his son and IS comfortable with accepting his son regardless. I LOVED that healthy relationship they had and applaud Kade Boehme for making it like that because it would have been really easy to take it elsewhere with this story line.

By AB ❤ I Love Book Love Blog This is one of those books where the blurb gives nothing away as to what the story is about, other than that it is an erotic tale of a woman who has a chance to fulfil all of her sexual fantasies and decides to go for it. Sometimes a vague blurb can work in your favour because you don't have many expectations at all and In this case Suite 269 most definitely exceeded them. The story starts off with Lexa Novak finding out her boyfriend is a cheat, but not only that, he is cheating on her with the beatch from hell from work. They all work for inTrend magazine, Lexa is a fact checker, Trager is the Mail Room guy and the bitch is a top contributor. Now the gossip of the workplace, Lexa is humiliated and upset, but realises that she's more upset about the embarrassment of it all than the fact that she has to cancel a wedding.Jameson Holt is the son of the magazine's owner, and managing editor. He and his father have been trying to save the dying magazine for a while now but are failing. They need help, and fast, but unfortunately the bitch seems to be the only one that can help, much to the chagrin of Lexa.Jameson hasn't really noticed the bland looking fact checker before, but when the office rumours bring her to his attention, he suddenly realises that he's been walking around with his eyes closed for a long time now, because this beautiful and witty woman makes him feel all kinds of things that he's never really felt with a woman before, so after a few weeks of friendly banter and subtle flirting, he makes her an offer she can't refuse. So there we have it, not only is there a nice build up, some hilarious dialogue, a lot of sexual tension and an explosive culmination of said tension, there is a really lovely love story between two soul-mates who have finally found each other.Fun characters, sweet romance and high on steam = a really great read. This is a standalone novel, told in dual POV.

She told me she's been having sex with an a**hole for years.” @Kavon ‪#‎IDon’tGetIt” Suite 269 turned out to be so much more than I thought it was going to be. I was excited at the thought of reading an erotic book filled with tons of hot fantasies by one of my favorite authors. I was even more excited to find out that Lexa and James excelled my expectations. Suite turned out to be an overall feel good story that had me giggling, melting, and sighing (in more ways than one) from its perfect mixture of tongue in cheek humor and super-hot fantasy scenes. With its uncomplicatedness, Ms. Zolendez provided her readers with a splendidly crafted blend of steam, chemistry, romance, humor, and friendship. This was one of those reads that will have you experiencing tons of feels but they are of the sweet, delicious, happy kind.“Let me tell you the truth about women. We want it all. We want to be completely and utterly cherished but at the same time treated like our inner whores. The secret is that we don’t want to ever talk about it. We want you to just know. So not only are we liars, we’re a bunch of crazy ass b******.”I CANNOT wait for you to meet our female protagonist; what a kick ass, breath of fresh air this character was. She is one of my top favorite heroines of all time. Lexa definitely had snarky and sarcastic down—a girl after my own heart. I totally fell in love with everything about her, especially the fact that she didn't take anyone’s crap. I could see hanging with her in real life. She reminds me a lot of some of my best friends. Totally girl crushing right now. Lexa had an amazing personality. I loved the positive self-worth and confidence Lexa learned to gain along the way. It was a nice feeling to read about a heroine who wasn’t annoying as f*** and emotionally/mentally inept when it came to her thoughts about herself. Finally, an influential role model who takes her insecurities head on while finding the elements needed to accept herself, flaws and all. Even James is all about building Lexa’s body imagine, confidence, and worth up instead of pulling her down. I really love the underlying messages this couple portrays.“I wasn’t asking what because I’m deaf. I’m asking it so you have another chance to change that dumba** answer." Go, Jameson, Go!!!! That is exactly what I yelled out when this scene played out. There may have even been a bit of covert fist pumping going on as well. James had me melting from the moment we were introduced to him. From start to finish, he quickly scaled my long line of BBFs to beat. Seriously, I adored the crap out of this man; even during his slight stupid moment, which I was able to forgive him for within seconds. As I write this review, thinking back on him and his many auto correct fails, I can’t help but smile HUGE. Here is a man who is still totally alpha in personality, yet he isn’t broody or broken, and he doesn’t need to be an “alpha-hole” to prove his manliness. This one hero who has definitely made my top 10 list of BBFs. With all the butterflies he had floating round in my stomach and the way he was with his girl, there was no way he wouldn’t have scaled that long line and not have succeeded in snagging a top spot.“Three weeks. Three weeks we will lock each other in that honeymoon suite and we play out every one of your fantasies. No rules. Anything you want to try, we try. No feeling ashamed or insecure. Then we come back here and pretend nothing happened. You want to experiment and find yourself. I want to f*** you like I’ve never wanted to f*** anyone before.”At first, Jameson and Lexa’s relationship centers on the slow buildup of humor, sexual tension, and teasing, but oh lord, when this couple finally got to that pinnacle point, Ms. Zolendez definitely stepped up the heat. These two were off the charts HOT! And although everything seems to point to their sexual chemistry, their journey steadily grows so far beyond that. These two were the epitome of light-heartedness and empowerment. Their connection was downright addicting, in and out of the bedroom. In the end, I CRAVED MORE Lexa and Jameson. Their awesomeness just radiated off the pages, making them the best kind of hero and heroine. Christine could have given us an Outlander size book and still that would not have been enough when it came to this magnetic couple.I HIGHLY recommend Suite 269 to everyone!! My newest favorite by Christine Zolendez. I promise you won’t regret one clicking this fast paced, laugh out loud, consuming read that will have you begging for more.

I wish I had the spunk and backbone to insult people who try to disrespect me since I don't I'll live vicariously through Lexa. How many times did you wish the witty comeback line you thought up ten minutes too late had been sitting on your tongue instantly? One too many times. The story is told from James and Lexa's POV. The story begins with Lexa enjoying a night out with her friends celebrating her bachelorette party at a strip club. Lexa returns home to find her fiancé screwing a co-worker. With the wedding and honeymoon already paid for the show must still go on.It's an erotic romance with tons of humor. Christine Zolendz might be shy in real life but she comes alive with her witty dialogue. Clever use for auto correct conversation. The blogger comments are down right creative.Lexa and James are building up quite a lust bank full of nasty images of each other in compromising positions.Thank you Christine for the spank bank memories of James in a towel. That was quite a kiss. I think you used every adjective imaginable to describe that kiss. I'm breathless from just reading those pages. Jealous of that kiss. Christine you are the biggest tease with your words. Your words get more action than the actual characters. The angst. The build up. These two are going to explode on contact after they verbally abuse each other with these sexy words. Let the fantasies begin. The beauty about stories is how you get to create your perfect man. Christine nailed the male character. You can tell the story was written by a woman because it oozed with all the ideal words any smart woman would say regarding her perfect man.Christine put some careful thinking into these sex scenes because that list of ideas was off the chain amazing. I'm aroused and panting from reading those saucy scenes. Good job Christine.Christine you need to whip me up one of those men pronto. The only thingwrong with your story is the female characters name is wrong. My name is not Lexa its AnnMarie. Please correct as soon as possible. Only until then will the story be perfect. My perfect fantasy.

In the third century BC, Zeno of Citium founded a philosophy called Stoicism in Athens. The Stoics taught that the best way to live was according to the laws of nature. Stoics accepted the inevitable and spent their life trying to inspire virtue and wisdom in themselves. They believed that this was the best way to go through life. Surprisingly, the principles of Stoicism can be used in the modern world, especially in the world of value investing. Value investing is an investing philosophy that placed greater emphasis on a company's value than its price. Although there are countless books about the mathematical and technical side of value investing, the mental aspect is often ignored. Ironically, the mental aspect usually has a greater impact on success. The purpose of this book is to lay out several Stoic principles that can help foster mental discipline and strength, which can do wonders for the investor's portfolio. Open the book, and uncover the ancient secrets. If you have any feedback or questions, feel free to leave a reply in the review section and also email the author at sanjitdeepalam@gmail.com.

Centered around Warren Buffet's ideologies as shown in The Intelligent Investor, The Stoic Investor takes the emotional approach to investing, demonstrating that the mindset behind the investor will yield the most profitable results. Sometimes, it's not all about the numbers and graphs, and Deepalam makes this very clear in his writing. Sanjit Deepalam is a young author with massive potential, and as an avid investor myself, it was a pleasure reading his first publication. The author's direct yet detailed analysis of market variations in combination with investor incentive makes The Stoic Investor a great read for anyone looking to learn more about the importance of attitude before making decisions involving financial risk.

By Nancy E Farris This series is aimed at Teen's but let me tell you this, I haven't been a teen in 45 years and I couldn't put the book down once I started it. Growing up as an avid Nancy Drew reader, I find this series to be the modern day version and all three to date do not disappoint.Alyson and her circle of friends (and fellow sleuths) are very real and likeable. They go about their lives and mysteries to be solved fall into their laps admist school and football games. I don't want to give anything away so just take my word and read it yourself!

I thoroughly enjoyed the third book in this series, The Relic, and I am 62 years old.In The Relic Alyson discovers a very old map with the guidance of a ghost under a floorboard in her bedroom. She and her friends are anxious to try to translate the strange language that is part French, part English, and part Chinook. This leads to their adventures in the caves looking for treasure, sometimes scary but sometimes they discover awesome beauty. I love how Alyson and her friends are a tight knit group who stands by each other. When help is needed everyone who can pitches in. Sarah, Alyson’s mother, is a teen’s dream mother I’m sure. She enjoys Alyson’s friends, is hospitable always to them, and reciprocates her help to them as they help her out at the museum. Sarah is a great cook and is perceptive to the needs of the teens as they participate in school activities as well as other ventures.Kathi Daley continues to amaze me with the tight publication schedule she has set for herself for each series she writes. I love them all and am happy I don’t have to wait too long before I can pick right up where I left off in any given series. Kathi’s writing gets better all the time, which is even more amazing. One might think that with her tight publication schedule she could get sloppy in her writing but she doesn’t. Thank you, Kathi, for adhering to your top notch quality writing in every book in each series.
