The protagonist is so relate-able, and a great literary role model for young girls (or anyone, really)--headstrong, smart and compassionate. And the writing is superb--I felt like I was right there in the middle of it all. The author covers a wide range of topics (including death, loss, bullying, discrimination, and love) and treats them all very skillfully. Can't wait for the follow-up!

It's so well written that you will relate to Savanna in every single way and feel every single thing! Her loss, her loneliness, her fears, but also the heat of her attraction to Blake!!! I loved every minute of it!!! Thumbs high in the air with blazing lighters!!!!

It keeps your interest as you try to figure out the connections and secrets amongst the different characters, and the relationships definitely surprise you (in a good way)! Definitely recommend!
