The Aztec history was researched very well, adding to the author's vivid descriptions. It reminded me of some school articles I had read about the Aztecs--only this was a ton more entertaining!Yummy spankings, hot sex, a delicious and dominant Alpha, a brave, intelligent woman, a bad guy, and an interesting plot....This story gave me a little bit of everything, including Aztec history.I loved reading about the markets, the temples, the causeways, the nobility and the slaves... Moctezuma, Cortez....And the relationship between Eoitan and Ayala was beautiful to watch. A powerful general and a slave. So awesome.This was very enjoyable, and I'm glad I got to read this first book from Sara Fields. I hope she does more stories like this.

I learned some Aztec history while I read a steamy romance with quite a bit of danger thrown in. Great read! I received this book from Stormy Night Publications as an Advanced Reader Copy.

It was fast paced the sex was really good,couldn't stop reading it.It had history in it which was interesting. A little less spanking would have made it even better.Will be looking to buy more of this author,s books
