By Jak I've really enjoyed Patricia Keyson's unusual combination of gentle charm and intriguing plots in her earlier novels and this new one is another winner. This time just the prologue alone was enough to make me want to know how things would turn out and which characters were not what they appeared to be.I said one of her earlier books was "alluring, appealing, charming, absorbing, gripping, and intriguing" and I can't add to or subtract from that conclusion when evaluating "Danger for Red." This suspenseful tale of family secrets, an amateur detective, and a murder is, quite simply, a very good read.
