Book five in the Chess series
Things are changing again for the foursome. Can they weather these changes as they do everything else—together?
Things are changing again for Bishop, Knight, Rook and Jason. Not only is Jason going back to school, but Knight has bought a cottage on a lake several hours away, and none of them are quite sure what it all means for their family of four.
As Knight loses himself in his art at the cottage and Jason begins the hard work needed to keep up with school, Rook and Bishop call each other often to stay in touch, but it isn’t the same thing as all four of them being together.
Could this be the beginning of two couples and the end of their foursome just when Jason was settling into being a part of this weird but wonderful family? Or will they find a way to make it work just like they have everything else?
The Chess series
Can a working threesome find a fourth to help them balance their lives? Rook, Knight and Bishop believe so.
The happy threesome know there's something missing and when they find Jason, they're pretty sure he's just what they need.
Join these four sexy men as they explore the dynamics between them and work toward finding a happy ending of their very own.
About Sean MichaelOften referred to as "Space Cowboy" and "Gangsta of Love" while still striving for the moniker of "Maurice," Sean Michael spends his days surfing, smutting, organising his immense gourd collection and fantasizing about one day retiring on a small secluded island peopled entirely by horseshoe crabs. While collecting vast amounts of vintage gay pulp novels and mood rings, Sean whiles away the hours between dropping the f-bomb and pursuing the kama sutra by channelling the long lost spirit of John Wayne and singing along with the soundtrack to "Chicago".
A long-time writer of complicated haiku, currently Sean is attempting to learn the advanced arts of plate spinning and soap carving sex toys.
Barring any of that? He'll stick with writing his stories, thanks, and rubbing pretty bodies together to see if they spark.

Seems like Rook and Jase don’t quite know how to process that information. In fact, they feel like things are about to change for all of them.Despite the internal turmoil Rook and Jase are having, Knight and Bish are completely in their own little world. Knight is improving and Bish loves that he’s got the old Knight back. We get to see some more of Bish’s naughty side and how Knight responds to him. Reading these two and seeing their love for each other is awesome. While Knight and Bish are off enjoying each other at the cottage, Rook and Jase take the opportunity to share something that’s just between the two of them, building their relationship even more than it already is. Jase helps Rook realize that he’s needed, even when Rook didn’t feel like he was.It was nice seeing the gang slip back into their rhythms, even with their new embankments. Happy boys equal a happy home.*I was given a copy of this book as a gift from The JeepDiva in exchange for an honest review.

Adams ~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads Review Team~This book was hard for me; I hated how most of the book the foursome was separated. These guys work so well as a foursome and it just seemed off and odd without them all together. Each couple worked well together but the dynamics are off the charts when they are all four there. It was a great book and I hate to see the series come to an end. I want more!Characters: well writtenSex: yes, so hotReligious: noWould I recommend to others: yesMore than one book in the series: yesGenre: M/M/M/M/RomanceWould I read more by this author: yes~Wicked Reads Review Team~

Book Review by Caroline By PrismBookAlliance 4 of 5 StarsFor original review, please visit the Prism Book Alliance® blog online.Previously Posted I have previously reviewed End Game for Prism and my thoughts from then still stand JI am so sad this series has come to an end!! I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea because of the sheer volume of wicked, kinky and downright delicious sex but this series was one of my naughty don’t need to concentrate on the plot too much secrets.I have immensely enjoyed my time with these 4 men. They are all very different, they all needed and gave very different things to the relationship but they were all required to make the relationship work. From the moment they took Jase in, in book 1, you knew it was going to work.I was trying to work out who of the 4 was my favourite but it is just impossible. Bishop with his take charge Dom attitude who kept them all grounded and always seemed to know what each of them needed. Knight with his manic and consuming passion for art, that in this book returns after he is fully recovered from his accident. Rook who needs to be adored and has so much love for the other 3. Jase who came in late to the group but is just what they needed and who has fallen so in love with Rook. This is the story of life after Knights recovery. It finds them at a crossroads as Knight has bought a cottage to immerse himself in his painting. Jase is back at school and adjusting to all the work that involves. Rook is bored with his shop and Bishop is trying to keep them all together whilst meeting all their individual needs. It would not be a Sean Michael story without lots and lots of hot sex….and oh boy is the sex hot!!! Erm, and kinky! What better way to ground Knight than with a scene involving fisting! If you have enjoyed the previous four books this one will be bitter sweet…as we get to spend more time with the guys but at the end of it we have to say goodbye.
