The author covers fruits, vegetables, soups and meats.I am a beginner at this, so I found the explanations of the basics very useful. If you are a more experienced canner, you probably won't find too many bells and whistles here. Recommended for the novice.

If we have too much of something - it starts to spoil. Therefore, canning is very effective method. When the time of plenty will end we will have a reserve. It will diversify diet and save a lot of money. You will not be dependent on shops and markets. And what is the most important you will be able to pamper yourself with a favourite fruit or vegetable even when its season ends. I consider this book to be very important.
